Lunette Castillo, DNP, MSN, FNP-BC

Lunette Castillo graduated from Chicago State University in 2007 obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She acquired her general nursing skills by working for 6 years in the cardiac surgery ICU at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Chicago. Ms. Castillo graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 2012 with a Master’s of Science degree in Nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner. Since graduating and passing her national nurse practitioner board exam, she has worked in various settings. She now works primarily in primary care and has been diagnosing and treating common health conditions for almost 8 years. Ms. Castillo moved to Bermuda in 2018 after marrying a wonderful Bermudian man. In 2020 she completed a doctorate degree from Rush University in Chicago in advanced Public Health; her concentration was in Leadership to enhance health population outcomes. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society and is passionate about improving the health of our community.

Darrien S. Ray, PsyD

Dr Darrien S. Ray is a registered Bermudian clinical psychologist who has been practicing in Bermuda since 2013. Prior to 2013, he worked in Fort Wayne, Indiana as a licensed psychologist in a community mental health setting. Dr Ray comes to the island with a broad level of experience in individual, group, and family therapy settings.   Dr Ray employs a client-centered, interpersonal approach that emphasizes building self-esteem, enhancing relational skills, and promoting a balanced, positive lifestyle. Dr Ray works with children and adolescents who may struggle with behavioural or emotional problems. He has experience helping families with relational problems and works with parents and children to establish a healthy, positive environment.   Dr Ray treats adults who may struggle with depression, anxiety, or other difficult emotions.  He works with individuals who present with personality disorders or adults with relationship problems.   Dr Ray also has extensive experience conducting psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of presenting problems.  

Kelsey Ball Fomengia, PhD

Kelsey is a Bermudian currently living in Washington, DC and working as a licensed clinical psychologist and yoga instructor. She earned her BA degree from the University of Virginia in 2011, double majoring in Psychology and Music. She completed her PhD in clinical psychology from Howard University in 2016 and now works as a consultant. She is a co-owner of the telehealth company FiveMedicine, which provides medical, mental health, and complementary health services. Her work in forensic settings, schools, community mental health, and private practice have provided her with a variety of clinical experiences with diverse populations. Having grown up in Bermuda, she has a particular interest in minority mental health and consistently advocates for holistic approaches to health and wellness.

Tamala Dickinson, Holistic Health Practitioner

Tamala Dickinson is a certified Mindfulness Coach, Reiki Master and Shamanic Reiki Practitioner who is experienced in Spiritual Life Coaching. She is a devoted champion of holistic health and one who practices what she teaches.

Tamala is committed to providing modalities which help to bring a sense of peace and balance to her clients. Possessing an intuitive as well as a technical understanding of the ways in which the mind, body and spirit interface, she is able to provide advice and treatments aimed at restoring optimal alignment.

In the midst of the journey home to herself, Tamala has learned how to adapt and navigate through the dark paths of her Soul by discovering and illuminating her own light. Her offering to you is to provide a healing service that is both safe and supportive while you are on your path to healing and awakening to your own light.

Renee Simons, PsyD

Dr. Renee Simons is a Clinical Psychologist working at Edgewood Pediatric Services, in Bermuda. She received both her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Simons obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Child and Family relations from the University of Guelph, in Ontario Canada.

Dr. Simons works with children, adolescents, and families who may be struggling with behavioral and emotional problems, such as depression, low self-esteem, self-harm, behavioral acting-out, trauma, and anxiety. Dr. Simons also works with individuals who are learning to adjust to life with a chronic illness, providing motivational and behavioral support. In addition, she has experience conducting group therapy and has facilitated groups for adolescent females, individuals with learning disabilities, children with dyslexia, children with anxiety, and various classroom groups at the middle and high school levels. Dr. Simons has conducted many psychoeducational assessments through The Reading Clinic and while working at Edgewood Pediatrics.
